My Review For those of us booklovers who are not into stories about revenge, a book titled Avenger may sound risky. I can't stay mad at him for long though and I loved the scenes that incdluded him. I also felt that there is a lot more we are going to learn about her as the series goes on. His plan to bring her to the dark side continued until the end. Mace and Raven are given a mission to stop a catastrophic event. Thanks to Burch for keeping the book free of profanity or any explicit scenes.

It felt right be in his arms. But all in all, it is a well written book. They never did protect one before.

Halflings Series

Guardian continues where Halflings ended with main character Nikki Youngblood aware that not only is she in the middle of a battle between angles and demons. This was a really good book! It didn't make sense that he was disgusted with Nikki by virtue of being human at first and then he was singing her praises the next.

I was excited to get this for review! It's later revealed that Nikki has a Seer ability - which means she can draw things that depict events in the future. First off, why three?

I really feel bad for Raven he halflijgs a Halflinghalf angel-half human as he is in love with Nikki, and seems she is stringing the 2 guys along, As she halclings Mace also a halfling. He was just Mr.

Mace was the sweet, good guy. He's cocky and so sure of himself but Nikki gets to him in a way no other human girl ever has. For the worst is definitely left to come. He was handsome, like any Halfling, and he knew it. They don't understand why they have to protect her since she's human.

There's some mildly amusing banter between Mace and hlaflings Lost Boys, but it's hard to tell who they are at first from the position in the novel halfings I figure that's something that'll be developed later as the story moves forward. That caused a lot of choices that the characters made to seem strange and unrealistic to who they are in the novel and I have to admit that it took away from the story for me.

Book ratings by Goodreads. Mace, steadfast and deeply in love, wants to protect Nikki at all costs, while Raven's loyalty to Nikki finds him advocating for her independence and battling his own darker inclinations.

The start of heatherr novel seemed a bit in haste for events, transitioning from Hellhounds to a speeding van that follows Nikki and results in her fainting two or three times within the first several chaptersbut I thought maybe that it would expound later on bburch to why these events occurred.

Luckily I knew in advance what I was in for. I'll admit, his attitude of ' you know you love me, and I can wait for you to figure it out ' ground on my nerves. What I didn't like: I laughed with this book and I cried, but I experienced all of it like I was there with Nikki and the other halflings.

Why would the author give us insight into his mind when he has just a supportive role. Every Halflings group has halflinbs angels and has a guardian which is a heavenly angel.
